Clear Lake Evening Lions give to Harmony Ranch
(Clear Lake, 1/13/2007) -- The Clear Lake Evening Lions Club recently served the community by adopting a horse for one year at Harmony Ranch. The $1,200 donation is a benefit to the community because it helps support the non-profit volunteer-based Christian organization that provides therapeutic riding for physically, cognitively, and/or emotionally challenged children and adults. Harmony Ranch’s 75 acre campus will eventually feature a lodge/retreat center, shelter house, playground, indoor and outdoor riding arenas, small group meeting areas, gardens, nature trails, and a Biblical Reflection Trail. Harmony Ranch is located at 18192 N 32nd St, Clear Lake or take Hwy 122 to N 32nd St (1st road east of I-35), go ˝ mile north and there will be a sign on your left. For information on the therapeutic riding program and all other inquiries to Ron or Connie Arispe at (641) 357-7960 or rcarispe@netins.net.
According to Rick Mayland, President of the Clear Lake Evening Lions Club, “Money raised throughout the year allows Lions to meet pressing needs in our community including. Lions members thank everyone who contributed to this important work. You are truly helping Lions make a difference in our community.”
