You are welcome to visit any one of our regular Club Meetings at any time. You do not need aninvitation or be with a member to attend. We are located at the United Church Of Christ - First Congregational Church, 520 - 11th St. E., De Witt, Iowa. Lunch is held at 11:45 AM each Thursday, followed by afew club announcements, roll call with our tail-swisters, and an inter-esting program from 12:30 to 1:00 PM. Join ourClub President Pat Henricksen, and the restof our great membership for an enjoyable exper-ience in true Lionism. The Ladies of the Church prepare a wonderful meal that you are sure to enjoy. The programs are entertaining and informative. We hope you take the time to visit us.

DE WITT NOON LIONS CLUB ACTIVITIES AND PHILLANTHROPY
During the fiscal year ending June 2009, the De Witt Noon Lions Club made donations in the amount of $10,000 plus. The last six months have been busy one for our club. In addition to welcoming four new members, the club has provided eye exams for two needy persons, collected eyeglasses that are refurbished and made available to those who need them and held eye screenings for children at Genesis Medical Center and at in-house daycare providers.
The Club presented its $1,000 Harold Birney scholarship to Stuart McCulloh, donated $1,000 to the Central Education Foundation, contributed $125 to Junior Achievement of the Heartland, sent a letter of support and $50 to the Clinton County Eco Tourism Center and invited high school students to experience Lionism by attending meeting each week.
The Club also donated funds for poastage to ship Girl Scout cookies to Iraq as well as $600 for a student to attend a medical specialty camp, $500 to the De Witt Referral Center, $860 to Camp Courageous and $50 each to benefits for several people from this area.
Members served ice cream at Westwing place during National Nursing Home Week, held rib eye and brat stand fund-raisers at Barnes, held the annual Fouth of July pancake breakfast and manned the gates at the Clinton County Fair.
Our Club donated $50 for trophies for the 4-H Club Show, made donations to support the Leader Dog program, Diabetes Awarness and the Iowa LLions Foundation. We donated $150 to the Dubuque Colts Drum and Bugle Corps, $250 to the De Witt Community Hospital Foundation, and $500 to the De Witt Leadership Class for a sommunity sign.
We also made two $1,000 donations to Lions Club International in exchange for a Melvin Jones Award and to the Iowa Lions for a Warren Coleman Award nomination.
