GIVING THANKS
The South Des Moines Lions would really like to thank the 3 Hy-Vee Stores on the south side of Des Moines and Sheeder Farms of Guthrie Center Iowa for their donations for our pancake breakfast. Without their help we would not beablt to do the things we do. All the money we make does stay on the south side of Des Moines.

Breakfast for the Veterans
On Nov 11, 2011 the South Des Moines Lions helped with the Veterans Breakfast at Hy-Vee on Fleur Dr. in Des Moines. The ones that helped out was Norm-Helen Givler, Howard-Pat Robbins, Clarence-Linda Mattson, Jim Patch and Brian Osterm. The help that they provided was very much appreciated by Hy-Vee. They said they had lots of fun talking to all the Vets. and listening to their storys. In fact Hy-Vee thought so highly of these members showing up to help out Hy-Vee is going to cater our meeting on Nov 28,2011. So when you see any of these members and Hy-Vee tell them THANKS.
